2008 Dodge Viper SRT-10 Gets More Power And Costs Less

After a 100 horsepower upgrade to the previous 500 horsepower 8.3 liter V10, the 2008 Viper SRT-10 now features a new 8.4 liter V10 pushing over 600 horsepower, and gets better gas mileage at the same time. At a top speed of 200 miles per hour, the average speed limit of 60 miles per hour is reached in a quick 3.7 second time frame. Under the hood is the re-designed 8.4 liter V10 gas engine, that achieves a reported 11 miles per gallon in the city and 19 miles per gallon on the high way, compared to the previous 13/22 ratio on the old 8.3 liter V10 engine. This slight motor change saves the consumer $1,700 dollars off the price of the vehicle due to a smaller gas guzzler tax. At over 100 more horsepower with better gas mileage, and saving you money at the same time, the 2008 Dodge Viper SRT-10 seems irrisistable.
