Ford is on a hunt to appeal to younger owners
Ford will begin an advertising campaign for the 2011 Mustang to appeal to younger buyers by touting its fuel efficiency. They will do this by heavily pushing the V6 model, which has traditionally been targeted towards women, versus the more powerful V8 GT model.
Ford is very proud of their Ecotec engines and it shows as they are going to do a major push to appeal to buyers. They’re also hoping to stay on top of the sales numbers while competitor Chevrolet attempts to push their Camaro sales ahead of the muscle car pack.
