Chrysler to roll out 8 speed transmission for 2013
While Chrysler refuses to comment on which models will receive the ZF Group sourced 8 speed transmission, but speculation is pointing at their LX platform with models such as the 300 and Charger.
The 8-speed transmission will offer better fuel economy and performance than conventional 5 and 6 speed models. It makes you wonder if there will be a limit to how many speeds they can cram into an aluminum box and call it a transmission.
