Come on now, you didn’t! Oh, you did.

Cummins, makers of diesel engines around the globe, has shoved the largest engine they make complete with its 12 turbochargers into a custom stretch Austin Mini. Obviously some structural changes had to be made to stretch this vintage Mini to accommodate the 78 liter behemoth that sports 18 cylinders and churns out 3,500 horsepower with over 10,000 ft-lbs of torque. This engine is well suited for large land movers, or even marine applications I’d guess.

Apparently this freak show on wheels was commissioned by a Cummins customer but doesn’t seem to be of much use besides a road-side spectacle. Watch out Stonehenge – Cummins has a Mini with your name on it!
