Tesla and Toyota NUMMI Partnership may run deeper
Word is out that Tesla has provided their batteries, electronics, and motors to Toyota for installation into Toyota bodied vehicles to be used as test platforms to see if Tesla’s engineering measures up to Toyota standards. This could be the start of a new platform that Toyota may put out should tests do well and almost ensure Tesla’s survivability and increase their funding for R&D projects. Who knows what else we will see from these two manufacturers as their relationship has just begun.
