Corvette adds to their consumer experience
For a while now you’ve been able to purchase packages to see your new Corvette be born, from the beginning of the assembly line until it rolls out the door, or having your vehicle delivered in the showroom of the Corvette Museum.
Now Chevrolet has stepped up with a new $5,800 offer to let buyers assemble their own engine on their Z06 or ZR1 Corvette that is equipped with the LS7 or LS9 engine. Upon being assigned a personal concierge who handles all arrangements, buyers get to actually put their own engine together under supervision of skilled technicians. A personalized nameplate is attached to the engine once complete.
While the packages of the past were cool, this might take the cake for the ultimate gear head. Nothing like saying you got to build your own engine for the car you ordered. Talk about taking pride of ownership to the next level!
