What’s up with the Detroit Auto Show?
With all the buzz in the industry over the part year it was figured that the North American International Auto Show, or Detroit Auto Show, would be a stunner this year. Mazda, Nissan, and Infiniti were still absent from the show, and it seemed that most of the oomph came from foreign auto makers.
Even when there was something noteworthy it didn’t last long, the sheer lack of news coming out of the show was a let down at best and we’re left wondering if the NAIAS has lost its muster within the industry as being one of the top places to show and shine. Unfortunately we won’t know how true this is until next years show rolls around so we can compare but at the moment we’re feeling rather underwhelmed.
