Something that has been contested for years, has been revised by some manufacturers, and always leaves possible questions to be asked — when is engine oil done doing its job?

Whether it’s 3,000 miles, 7,000 miles, conventional or synthetic there are just too many factors that play into if your engines oil is still doing its job, or if it has a lot of life left. Now a solution may be available to help assist you with making a call when you should have your oil changed. A new device called the Lubricheck, created by WaveOn Technologies, that fits in your pocket and is meant to be affordable can analyze your oil and tell you what condition your oil is in.

Check out the links below for more information. We think that giving consumers the ability to make a call on when to replace their oil could be huge. The implications of people using their oil more efficiently could lead to millions of gallons of oil saved every year, this could be a huge breakthrough.
