Finally! Focus ST and ST-R heading to the US
It has been a long time coming… Our European friends across the pond have been enjoying the crazy Focus ST for quite some time now while all we get to do is watch Ken Block with wide eyed fascination. Apparently that is about to change.
The Focus ST and ST-R are coming to the states. The ST boasts a much tighter suspension and is powered by a 2.0L eco-boost four cylinder reported to have 247 HP. Yes, 247 HP in a focus with a rock solid suspension. All that mated with a six speed manual equals fun for everyone. The Focus ST-R is reported to be yet another of Ford’s out of the box ready to go race cars. The Focus ST-R will have a roll cage and other fine track trimmings thrown in. There is no exact release date set at the moment but many are anxiously awaiting news. This could be the start of something great.
