Charger Redline to debut at Detroit Auto Show
Did you think Chrysler was just going to throw the new Dart out there and be done with it? Eco box cars aside, Detroit’s big three will not forget that their roots came from asphalt melting power and they still have to deliver on that front. With that in mind, Chrysler has announced it will show off the Charger Redline at the Detroit Auto Show this year.
The Redline comes in three different stages. Stage one adds some grahics, a spoiler, some 20″ rims, some hideous looking tacked on side scoops and a front fascia addon. Stage two adds better brakes, cat back exhaust and some suspension stiffening and tuning. Stage three throws all caution to the wind and straps on the insanity hat. A high output Hemi reportedly putting out over 580 HP and various suspension workings and weight reduction options. Hopefully all that power will be enough to rip those hideous side scoops off under heavy acceleration.
