No room in the garage? Why not stick an Ariel Atom in your living room?
The folks at Motion Simulation have brought us Christmas a tad bit early this year. That futuristic pod you see in the picture there is their just released TL1 simulator. The folks at Ariel gave them a large helping hand in this latest endeavor, and it is every racing simulator geeks dream come true.
The TL1 uses 3 HD projectors to give you the experience of being completely immersed in a race car with the wrap around screens. It is compatible with PC’s, X-Box 360, and the Sony Playstation 3. Imagine being able to play Grand Tourismo 5 with complete immersion. It definitely beats knocking your soda over into your bag of Cheetos while trying to use one of those tiny pedal addons. However, there is a downside. This beast will set you back a little over $18,000.00. So, as long as you don’t mind dropping that kind of dough, and of course trying to find a place to put it (who needs living room furniture anyways?) then please by all means run out and grab one today. Just remember to invite me when you do.
