The Paris Auto Show is coming. There has been a resurgence in concept cars on the auto show circuit the past couple of years, with many actually seeing the light of day in some form or another. Now, with the Paris Auto Show looming, is Renault finally going to take the leap while on it’s home turf?

The Alpine...er...DeZir...er.. yeah.

Several years ago, Renault started talking about the Alpine. A 400hp V6 powered rebirth of retro meets super. Then, they simply killed the project. Then, a year later, they supposedly brought it back from the dead. Then in typical Renault fashion the project died but was then somehow reborn and seen again but this time as the DeZir electric concept. Well, there are a lot of rumblings that the Paris Auto Show is the place that Renault will finally unveil the Alpine, or is it the DeZir? No one knows for sure, some might say not even Renault. All I can say is that I hope this shows up on stage and sparks some serious interest so maybe, just maybe… they will follow through in one way or another.
