2013 Lexus GS 350F being recalled due to faulty ECU

[ 0 ] May 24, 2012 |

Lexus has announced a recall for their performance sport GS 350F model due to a problem with the ECU. Lexus will be notifying the owners of affected vehicles starting the beginning of June.

The recall is due to the ECU possibly causing the Variable Gear Ratio Steering calibration to set the steering wheel off center if the vehicle is parked with the steering wheel turned and then restarted. Lexus says that the repair can be done at a local dealership and all that is entailed is a re-calibration of the ECU. Depending on how busy your dealer is, the repair should take approximately 30 minutes to complete. For more information about this issue please call your local Lexus dealer.
