BMW Zagato Coupe makes an appearance in the wild
BMW has been hinting and teasing at a new performance coupe for a while now. Several spy shots, information leaks and random sightings later, they have decided to roll the newly minted Zagato Coupe out and about for everyone to see.
Based on the Z4 platform, the Zagato is rumored to be powered by a 400 horse power 3.0L twin turbo V6. Little else is known about the technology under the skin of this amazing looking functioning concept. It will be interesting to see what BMW does now. In the past BMW would drop concept tidbits and mock-ups for the masses to drool at, but this time they are driving it around and letting everyone drink it in. Well played BMW, well played indeed.
