Steve McQueen’s 275 GTB/4 is back in the hands of Ferrari for restoration
To say Steve McQueen was an avid car guy is a huge understatement. He had quite a collection of what are now considered to be some of the finest classic automobiles ever made. One of those amazing classics was a Ferrari 275 GTB/4 he picked up while shooting the movie classic Bullit.
The car has seen several owners over the years, one of which chopped the top off to create a Spyder. The latest owner has sent the car to Ferrari’s
classic car division, Ferrari Classiche, for a complete ground up restoration, including rebuilding the currently missing roof. After the GTB/4′s complete restoration it will be re-certified and officially authenticated by Ferrari, creating one VERY luck Ferrari enthusiast.
