The new Vanquish is official, and it is glorious
I have to admit that I have a bit of a soft spot for just about any Aston Martin. They are fairly high up on my rather large list of cars I must own someday. So, as you might imagine, I was very pleased to see the new Vanquish officially revealed.
To say the car is pleasing to the eye might possibly be one of the biggest understatements ever uttered. The lines flow on the Vanquish making it look as if it is in flight even while sitting still, and while there may still be some old Aston Martin beneath the surface, it serves very well. The new Vanquish is powered by the well known 6.0L V12, but this variant puts out 565 horsepower instead of the 510 from the similarly powered DBS. You can also see a lot of influences from the One-77 present in both styling and attitude. All in all, I’m glad it’s finally here, and now I want one more than ever.
