Is the 2013 New Jersey F1 Grand Prix a unicorn?
A while back we reported that the Austin Formula One event was finally going to be held, even after the construction and funding problems that caused many to think it would be cancelled. Now we are hearing rumblings that the planned 2013 event in New Jersey may not make the cut.
The “F1 Supremo” himself Bernie Ecclestone has reportedly made comments that he does not see the race happening, possibly due to the belief that the track will not be ready in time. The event is still a year away which leads some people to believe there is some other reason as to why the New Jersey event is in danger. I guess we will just have to wait and see how things unfold. There seems to be plenty of time to get everything ready, after all, look how the Austin situation panned out after all of the speculation.
