Pontiac G8 GXP Muscle Car Pulls 8 Minute 30 Second Time at Nurburgring Track

General Motors’ development engineers have been working hard on the precise handling and performance of their Pontiac G8 GXP muscle car and put the car to the test on the Nurburgring, a test race track. Dialing in a ring time of 8 minutes and 30 seconds, the G8 GXP performed very well in comparison to other high performance vehicles of similar track times. The E60 BMW M5 pulled an amazing 8 minutes 13 seconds time and Porsche Boxster S actually came in 2 seconds slower than the G8 GXP. Not bad for a car that costs nearly $20,000 dollars less than its competition. Reported by Jalopnik.
