Dodge Viper ACR Hits 173 MPH At Bonneville

Edmunds Inside Line took a stock Dodge Viper ACR down to the Bonneville Salt Flats and broke out some big numbers. The car topped out at 173 miles per hour, a close second to the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 at 176 miles per hour. On the dyno, the ACR produces 546 horsepower and 510 foot pounds of torque in comparison to the ZR1’s supercharged v8 that places 549 horsepower and only 500 foot pounds of torque. Amazing numbers from two amazing muscle cars.
