Chevrolet Camaro SS Does Nurburgring In 8 Minutes, 19 Seconds

The new 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS managed to lap Germany’s famous Nurburgring track in 8 minutes, 19 seconds. Jalopnik put together a comparison of the Camaro SS and other General Motors performance products which include the Pontiac G8 GXP, Cadillac CTS-V and Corvette ZR1. The Pontiac G8 GXP made it around the ring in 8 minutes 30 seconds, Cadillac CTS-V at 7 minutes 59 seconds, and the Corvette ZR1 in 7 minutes 36 seconds. Not too bad for being nearly a third of the price of the Cadillac CTS-V or Corvette ZR1.
