GM To Hault Corvette Production

General Motors’ Bowling Green Assembly Plant will idle from now until the end of June, a shut down of six weeks due to slow sales. The Kentucky based plant, which builds the Chevrolet Corvette, houses approximately 600 workers who will be forced to take time off coming up. Bowling Green’s UAW local secretary said employees are “just worried if we will be here next week”.
