GM Performance Parts Improves eCommerce Store
GM Performance Parts’ eCommerce store at www.gmperformanceparts.com has been revamped to improve accessibility and pricing comparisons for all the parts available online. Starting Nov. 3, 2009, customers can view the pricing from all participating GM Performance Parts (GMPP) eCommerce dealers, as well as search for parts by location or price.
“The changes we’re implementing today make the convenience of GMPP’s online store even better, helping enthusiasts find the parts they need and pick the deal that’s right for them,” said Dr. Jamie Meyer, product marketing manager, GM Performance Parts. “Customer feedback drove these improvements. They told us what we needed to do to make the eCommerce store better and we listened.”
GMPP’s eCommerce store offers approximately 40 crate engines and more than 300 parts that can be ordered securely, 24 hours a day and seven days a week. The range of engines and parts includes the latest LSX ultimate-performance crate engines and parts, including the forced induction-ready LSX376 crate engine and the LSX454 crate engine, which generates approximately 620 horsepower with a single four-barrel carburetor. There’s also a full line of small-block, big-block and production-based LS crate engines and parts.
In addition to the Web site and eCommerce store, GM Performance Parts stays connected to enthusiasts and builders through the new FUEL eNewsletter, as well as fan pages on Facebook and Twitter. FUEL includes exclusive content and GMPP news; it is sent to all enthusiasts who sign up at www.gmperformanceparts.com – look for “Email Registration” on the left-hand side of the home page.
Go to facebook.com/gmperformanceparts to follow all the news from GMPP, including details on new products and links to coverage of special events, such as the LSX Shootout. GMPP is also tweeting news and product information at twitter.com/gmperfparts.
GM Performance Parts – tested to the limits, backed by GM
GM Performance Parts crate engines undergo a 50-hour, full-throttle engine dynamometer validation that requires the engines perform from peak horsepower to peak torque. GMPP also installs crate engines in its own engineering vehicles for testing and continuous improvement. That commitment to quality and durability enables General Motors to back GM Performance Parts crate engines with a 24-month/50,000-mile warranty (whichever occurs first). All GM Performance Parts components carry a 12-month/12,000-mile warranty.
Enthusiasts who crave the latest technology, maximum horsepower and the expertise and confidence backed by GM, can purchase GMPP crate engines, blocks, heads, high-performance transmissions and components from GMPP Authorized Center dealers or any other GM dealership nationwide.
