2014 Mustang To Possibly Get IRS
A report by MotorTrend hints that the next generation Mustang, slated for a 2014 arrival, may get the addition of an IRS rear suspension. The year will mark the companies 50th anniversary for the iconic muscle car and the change would be monumental for the company as the Mustang has always been a rear axle vehicle. Ride quality has always been sacrificed due to this decision, and the Mustang currently gets beat by the Chevrolet Camaro in the ride comfort. Of course right now it’s just speculation from an “inside source” and three years are quite some time to think it over.
