Ford announced the availability of a new body-in-white option for 2010 Mustangs at the third annual Ford Racing Invitational earlier this month. Produced with just a bare body chassis, the bodies will be available to racers who would like to build up Mustang's from the ground up. Orders will begin in July and run through the end of the year. Interior trim kits and wiring kits will also be produced and available for purchase.

According to sources close to Autoblog, Ford will be updating the current 3.5 V6 engine in the Mustang to a 3.7 liter V7 that produces 273 horsepower with port fuel injection. The new engine is expected to hit the 2011 model year, so see it under the hood sometime in the fall of 2010.
At the June meeting of the Greater Atlanta Automotive Media Association, Karen Rafferty, Chevrolet Product Marketing Director, today announced the recent production of the 1,500,000th Corvette at GM Bowling Green Assembly. "The 1.5 millionth Corvette is a great example of how Chevy is America's Brand," Rafferty said. "For nearly 60 years we have built America's Sports Car and this milestone is a solid proof point."

CNN Money is reporting Chrysler LLC will be re-opening factories shortly, beginning with the Dodge Viper plant as the first on the list. While production begins once again, Chrysler is still looking for a company to sell the Dodge Viper brand to. As to why Chrysler began production with the Viper itself is unknown. Clearly no one knows what they are doing over there.
Famous concept artist Michael Leonhard, came up with what seems to be the return of the Plymouth Road Runner. If the information and renderings are true, we could see the birth of the Road Runner back on the road by 2011. Chrysler LLC have not released any details about the car yet.
