Definitely not, but apparently GM's North American Vice President, Mark LaNeve, thinks so. “We won’t position it as a muscle car,” he says. “The mainstream positioning will be fuel economy, design and a V-6". What a retarded idea. Check out the full article by clicking here at Businessweek.

Chevy has teamed up with Safe Kids Worldwide and Hip Hop Duo Slum Village to Deliver "4 Steps", a rap song promoting seat belt use to tweens. According to Safe Kids, most parents are doing a great job when their children are infants and toddlers. But as kids get older, many are missing an important step when they move from toddler seats directly into an adult safety belt in a vehicle. Most kids less than 4'9" in height and 80 to 100 pounds do not fit in a safety belt properly without a booster seat. The combination of the booster and safety belt will provide "tweens" in this height and weight range with the best protection in the event of a crash. Safe Kids recommends that parents take a simple "Safety Belt Fit Test" to determine whether their child is a booster seat candidate.
