The anticipation is killing me. 7 more days until the biggest show on the planet for the automotive industry. The SEMA Show runs this year from October 31st through November 3rd in Las Vegas at the Las Vegas Convention Center. If the 2 million square feet of exhibits doesn't kill you first, the sins of Sin City will... leaving a lasting impression until your next trip to the desert.
I've been covering the SEMA Show since 2000, and every year (except for about a week of recovery time after the previous show) I look forward to it. It gets bigger and better every year. Anybody who's anybody in the automotive industry attends this show. That includes all of the manufacturers (over 2,000 of them), the attendees (over 50,000), the celebrities, and of course the Muscle Car Blog crew! All of us will be there to capture the sights and sounds throughout the entire week. We'll be taking thousands of photos and hours of video so you don't miss a single thing.
The theme for us this year is mobile everywhere Not only can Muscle Car Blog members access the site from their favorite mobile device, but they can also reply to forum topics via email and upload photos to their photo gallery simply by sending an email with one or more photos as attachments.
To carry our "mobile everywhere" theme into SEMA this year, we're doing even more for SEMA and Muscle Car Blog. For the first time ever we're bringing you the news as it happens through mobile blogging. No longer do we need to wait to get back to our hotel room to get online or blog from our laptops! So, expect a lot of immediate blogging from the SEMA Show and probably some off-the-wall stuff as we make our way around Vegas!
