The first day of shooting the new fall NBC Knight Rider series began Monday, June 23rd in Pasadena, California. The anonymous source tells Muscle Car Blog that the new KITT attack vehicle is "bad ass" in comparison to the vehicle featured in the NBC movie shown earlier this year. The side mirrors have blue LEDs, there's an electro-luminescence indiglo pinstripe on both bumpers, the wing has been upgraded to a more "beefy" look as well as hydraulically raises and lowers itself. The new fall series actually features 3 regular KITT cars and 2 attach vehicles, all featuring the legendary light scanner that has also been upgraded with "improved effects". Stay tuned for more details!
